NEW JERSEY QUALITY SINGLE ACCOUNTABILITY CONTINUUM (NJQSAC)

Once every three years public school districts in New Jersey are required to undergo monitoring by the New Jersey Department of Education.

NJQSAC MONITORING PROCESS

The five (5) areas which are assessed for District Performance Reviews (DPRs) are instruction and program, fiscal management, governance, operations and personnel.

The monitoring process includes a self-evaluation and on-site monitoring by the Monmouth County Department of Education. School districts must achieve a minimum score of at least 80% in each area to pass QSAC monitoring and be designated as a “high performing” school district.

Colts Neck Township Schools' on-site monitoring occurred on January 26, 2022. As a result, Colts Neck Township Schools was determined by the New Jersey Department of Education to be a "high performing" school district providing a thorough and efficient system of education, for a period of three (3) years or until the next NJQSAC review. Our district received the following placement scores:

Instruction and Program 87%
Fiscal Management 90%
Governance 95%
Operations 92%
Personnel 100%
