District Letterhead

September 22,  2021

Dear Colts Neck Township School Families,

New Jersey school districts are required by statute (N.J.S.A. 18A: 7C-6.6) to notify parents or guardians by October 1 of any statewide student assessment or commercially developed standardized assessment that will be administered over the course of the school year. The attached table will provide you with all of the required information.

Information for Parents and Guardians Regarding the Assessment

Information Regarding Available Accommodations and Accessibility Features

Our District offers modifications and/or accommodations during the administration of all assessments for students that are mandated to receive such modifications and/or accommodations. Our District Assessment Calendar can be found on our  website. Also, some assessments may be conducted in person while others done remotely depending on each child’s placement and individual circumstance.

Please note that due to the global pandemic and these unprecedented times, this Assessment Calendar is subject to change and revision. As of September 22, 2021 the Department of Education has not released the spring assessment dates for the NJSLA, DLM and ACCESS for ELL’s. The calendar will be updated as the district receives more information.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or my office.

Sincerely,

Erica Reynolds
