| Congratulations to the Colt Band and Jazz Bands for receiving excellent ratings at the Hershey Park Band Festival. The Colt Band placed Second overall out of eight bands in their division. Our Jazz Band placed First and Best Overall Band at Hershey Park. A member of the ensemble received Best Overall Soloist Award. | |

| COLT BAND |
| BY AUDITION ONLY. The COLT Band is comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who have acquired skills necessary to play level 3 Concert Band music. In addition, they attend Wednesday rehearsals after school. This band traditionally travels to Hershey Park to participate in an adjudicated band festival. | Jazz Band |
| BY AUDITION ONLY. The Jazz Band is comprised of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who are interested in learning to improvise and perform Jazz music. | |
| HONOR BANDS |
| Students who study privately and are members of the Colt Band are encouraged to audition for Shore Intermediate Band and Region II Intermediate Band. Students interested in auditioning for either the Shore Band or Region II Band must see Mrs. Ridoux.
